What is Invisalign?

The Invisalign Clear Aligner system consists of a series of doctor-prescribed and custom-made invisible plastic aligners.

Clear Aligners are designed to move your teeth in small increments from their original position to the most desired natural position.

Aligners are a thin and clear removable appliances indicated to use for the alignment of your teeth like braces.


Wear your aligners for a minimum of 20-22 hours a day

No restrictions on eating and drinking while on Invisalign

Make sure you keep your aligners in the case while eating /drinking/brushing

You can wear them while performing any sports activity. You may also wear them while swimming

Use the “Chewies” as advised

Brush your teeth at least twice and floss at least once a day

Clean or rinse your aligners before putting them back each time

Don’t subject your aligners to hot temperatures

A temporary increase in salivation or dryness may occur in the initial days

Attachments might feel poky and sharp for the first few days. But it should not be a matter of concern, as the regular wear and tear makes the edges smooth

After the aligner treatment is over, always wear retainers as guided by your orthodontist
